Vice President, Customer Service
Vickie Mellon joined Coverdell in 2000 and currently serves as Vice President of Customer Service and Professional Services. In this role, Ms. Mellon is responsible for overseeing the call center operations in the Chicago and Montreal offices. She also manages all external network vendor relationships and UNI-CARE networks, Coverdell's proprietary Dental and Chiropractic networks.
Ms. Mellon began her career in dental practice management handling all aspects of a lucrative, multi-site orthodontic practice. From there, she joined Unity Health Plan where she spent six years in senior management in the areas of claims processing and provider relations. In 1998, Ms. Mellon joined Dental Network of America and spent 12 years using her prior experience in the dental field and insurance industry to oversee its Call Center and Data Entry Operations. During her tenure, she managed two call center locations and was instrumental in the opening of a third call center and claims processing location.
